Plan your fence

Pick a style, a height, the length of your fence line and how many gates. You'll see a drawing of one section, the whole run along the string line, and a rough count of posts, rails and boards. Then send the plan to us with one tap.

Fence planner summary.

A rough count to talk through on the walk, assuming posts about every 8 feet. It isn't a quote: corners, slopes, what's in the way and the exact boards all change it, and we measure on site. Heights shown are common ones; ask about others.

Measuring your fence line

How do I measure how much fence I need?
Walk the line where the fence will go and measure each straight run, then add them up, gates included. A rough number is fine. On the walk we measure it properly.
Why are posts about 8 feet apart?
Wood fence rails usually span about 8 feet between posts, so a run is built in sections that long. Gates and corners add posts of their own.
Does the planner give me a price?
No. It gives you a drawing and a rough count so you know what you're asking for. For a price, send the plan and we'll set up a walk of the property and give you a clear quote.
